LEKI Speed Pacer Vario poles are made from 100% carbon fibers. Speed Pacer Varios are unique, allowing a +/-5cm adjustability, not so much to allow use by different-sized people, but rather to enable small adjustments, depending on conditions and on the type of workout desired.

Longer poles generally provide a better upper body workout, shorter ones allow a faster cadence. Small adjustments can 'dial-in' the poles depending on the terrain.

The LEKI Speed Pacer Varios are made from 100% carbon, have a very useful quick release Trigger 2 strap.

Carbide tip under rubber tip is great for trail and snow use. Weight averages 12.8 oz./pair.

This is the slightly older model, with a comfortable neoprene grip and the Trigger 2 strap. Many people prefer this type to the newest, cork and plastic grips.The grip has proven extremely durable as well. My poles have well over 1,500 miles on them and the grips do not show any noticeable wear, just a nice polish. In addition, these slightly older models, equipped with FlexTips are much less problematic that the new, SpeedTip-equipped poles. There are none of the SpeedTip-related rubber tip adjustment problems.
